1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the LIKA Rwanda mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by LIKA Rwanda ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LIKA Rwanda is a liquor ordering platform that allows customers to:

  • Browse the live LIKA product catalog.
  • Place liquor orders and provide delivery details.
  • Track order status in real time (Submitted → Confirmed → Delivered).

LIKA supports distributor-managed fulfilment and delivery workflows. Product availability may change at any time.

3. User Accounts

You may use certain features of LIKA without creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Ordering & Payments

4.1 Placing Orders

When you place an order through LIKA, you are placing an order through the distributor or fulfilment partner handling that catalog. LIKA acts as the ordering platform and workflow layer.

4.2 Pricing

Product prices and availability may change at any time. LIKA does not guarantee price accuracy where supplier catalog data is incorrect.

4.3 Payment

LIKA does not process card payments within the app. Payment is handled through the configured fulfilment flow:

  • Cash — paid on delivery or handoff.
  • MoMo — via the mobile money flow supported in the app.

LIKA may display or include fees required by fulfilment operations or the configured market flow.

4.4 Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before fulfilment is confirmed. Once an order status changes to "Confirmed", cancellation is handled by the fulfilment operator. Refund disputes must be resolved through the responsible fulfilment team.

5. Distributor Operators

5.1 Registration

Distributor operators may be granted access to LIKA through an approval process. Access is subject to verification and operational approval by LIKA.

5.2 Menu Management

Distributor operators are solely responsible for the accuracy of their catalog information, including item names, descriptions, prices, and availability.

5.3 Order Fulfilment

Distributor operators are responsible for fulfilling orders placed through LIKA in a timely and professional manner. Failure to do so may result in removal from the platform.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Submit false or misleading information.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and branding associated with LIKA (including the "LIKA" name, logo, and visual design) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content (including catalog data).
  • The quality of products or services provided by fulfilment partners.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LIKA Rwanda shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
  • Any harm arising from the products, service, or conduct of fulfilment partners.
  • Any issues arising from third-party payment processing (cash or MoMo).

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIKA Rwanda, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rwanda, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
